Bioconfluence-2008 :

A University level competition was held on 6th Jan., 2008 about more than 350 participant paricipated from different institutes in various competition such as oral paper presentation, poster presentation, essay writing, cartoon competition.

A state level competition ( which included paper presentation, essay, competition and poster competition) was held on 8th January, 2006 at Sheth M.N. Science College. The event was sponsored by Gujarat Council on Science & technology, Gandhinagar and A.P.M.C. Unjha. About more than 80 entries were presented in different competitions. the students from Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Rajkot, Ahemdabad, Baroda and North Gujarat had actively participated and made it a memorable & successful event.

"Astha" The First College Magazine & Thalesamia Testing :

On 6th Dec., 2005 the first magazine of college "Astha" was released. Dr. Arun Parikh, Rotary District Governor had delivered a key not address  on "Thalesamia Awareness". More than 400 students had given their blood thalesamia testing. 

University level workshop on Third Year B. Sc. Chemistry new Syllabus :

University level seminar cum workshop on newly prescribed U. G. C.  T. Y. B. Sc. Chemistry course was held at our  college. Experts from S.P.Uni. V. V. nagar, Gujarat Uni., A'bad and Hem. N. G. Uni. had guided to more than 50 teachers of affiliated colleges.

Yogashibir:

The college successfully organized one yog shibir from 23rd to 25th nov-2006 sponsored by the H.N.G. university, patan. Nearly  60 students participated in the programme from different colleges of the university. There were two experts from the Yoga department of H.N.G university. They were Shri N.P.Jadeja and Smt. Jagrutiben prajapati. The participants were highly benefited from and satisfied with that shibir.

NCC/NSS:

Extension activities of NSS (2006-07)
During the academic year 2006-07, NSS has carried out number of different activities, these include, 

We have organised four day camp at Kimbuva in which Yog Shibir, a special program for awareness against superstition, environment & other demonstration programs were organised. 

National Cadets Corps (NCC) 

Ever Since the establishment of the college, the NCC unit has been intialised with a view to arousing virtues like brotherhood, character building, sense of adventure, sportsmanship, patriotism, courage, fearlessness, secularism, etc. among the youth. The NCC unit of this college is duly affiliated with 7 Gujarat Bn. NCC Mehsana. A senior division NCC unit has been running since 1960b in which the strength of Cadets is 50 at percent and were 100 Cadets in the past.

The college NCC unit has been equipped with all the necessary facilities. It has a separate office with store room where the clothing items and equipments, Demo Rifles, musical instruments for training and different charts have been stored. The large parade ground and classroom of the college are utilized on the schedule of training.
